What to expect in a HIIT session

Our OTM45 high intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions are a great option to burn maximum calories in a minimum amount of time. 

D-Club247 Fitness OTM45 coach and crew leader Georgie demonstrates some exercises included in our specialised HIIT group training sessions.


   

Box Jump and Step Up

This station consists of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds recovery time for two minutes.

Press heels into the ground, drawing knees up for a big jump onto the box. Stand up at the top and step back down. Repeat. 

We do this for 20 seconds to get the heart rate up before slowing the heart rate down with 10 seconds of step ups.


Lunge and Press 

Set your feet underneath your hips. Look forward. To use your core as a stabilizer, turn your tummy on by drawing your belly button back to spine.

Lunge forward and press weight plate out in front before returning to the centre. Swap to other side. Keep your core turned on to keep you steady.


Lunge and Bicep Curl

Set your feet underneath your hips. Look forward. To use your core as a stabilizer, turn your tummy on by drawing your belly button back to spine.

Lunge forward and do a bicep curl with both arms. Step back. Re-centre. Repeat.
